Elmo Introduces Advanced Servo Controls for Missiles, UAVs

Elmo, a provider of motion control (servo) solutions is presenting new servo applications designed for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and other aerospace applications. At the upcoming Paris AirshowElmo Motion Systems (Hall 3, Booth A8) is highlighting a complete electrical solution for aerospace applications, that is compact, yet powerful and fit for operating in extreme environmental conditions, for use in missile winglets and UAVs.
These compact servo drives are designed to provide maximum power density. For example, the Eagle High Current MIL servo drive, delivers up to 300 A continuous output current (T mode). Another top performer is the Gold Hawk, delivering output current options of 75 A/ 60 V, 50 A/100 V and 20 A/200 V.
THis product is tailored for winglets, Gimbals, Turrets and other unmanned vehicles applications. The company also provides MIL Servo Control Solution for applications with numerous integrated axes. These complete, ready-to-use; ultra-compact high power servo systems include four 4,400 Watt servo drives of 40 A/110 VDC each; which deliver 16,000 Watt of qualitative output power and 25,000 Watt of peak power regeneration.
In addition, MIL Multi-Axis Motion Controller solutions are supporting up to 100 servo axes in any motion scenario, conforming to EtherCAT or CANopen busses.
